Sr. Tax Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Professional with 2–5 years of public accounting experience to join our growing team. This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and client relationships, along with the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior staff.

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities
• Supervise and mentor up to three junior team members, providing guidance and technical oversight
• Serve as a primary point of contact for select clients, ensuring responsive and professional communication
• Collaborate directly with senior leadership on tax planning strategies and client advisory services
• Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, regulatory requirements, and firm standards
• Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies within the tax function

• 2–5 years of experience in public accounting, focused on tax
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
• CPA eligible (CPA license or active pursuit strongly preferred)
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
• Strong technical tax knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with CCH Axcess (strong plus)
• Experience with Caseware (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax research tools
