Job Summary:
The Frisco Rough Riders are looking for a Seasonal Entertainment Assistant
- Mascot Lead who is highly motivated with exceptional people skills to be an integral part of the Rough Riders marketing team, focusing on pushing the brand forward.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Entertainment Assistant
- Mascot Lead will be responsible for game day and non-game day mascot appearances as well as assisting with various entertainment needs. This is a seasonal (March until October) role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work as a Rough Riders mascot (Deuce, Daisy, Bull Moose or Ted

    E. Bear) for all Rough Riders home games as well as community events
  • Assisting at on and off-site events (i.e. stadium events, youth baseball related functions, corporate events, farmers markets, festivals, school visits, etc.).
  • Responsible for set-up, operation, and tear down of all street team elements for events
  • Set-up and tear-down may include use of own vehicle to retrieve supplies from one location, deliver to another, and return them to the home location
  • Support and help lead Rough Riders mascots during all Rough Riders home games
  • Assist with game entertainment roles such as scripting, ideation and more
  • Assist with archiving game footage alongside the production team
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must have valid Driver's License
  • Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team player
  • Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work grassroots events, all Rough Riders home games, and complete office hours
  • Must be willing to work weekends and nights as most grassroots events take place on weekends and nights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a high-energy, detail-oriented team player
  • Familiarity with the different facets of Sports Marketing
  • Knowledge and understanding of grassroots marketing efforts
  • Excellent time-management and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have flexible schedule and be able and willing to work weekends including grassroots events, season ticket events and playoff initiatives
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
