Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a positive experience for our patients. If you are cross trained in the front office and are interested in both a clinical and administrator position this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Monday - Thursday

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Manage patient records and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental systems and equipment is essential.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and medical documentation standards is required.
• Experience as a dental receptionist or in managing patient interactions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is beneficial.

• Dental Assistant Certification in Texas
