Assistant Project Manager; Municipal​/Civic - Rockwall, TX

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with municipal or public‑sector construction exposure who can support documentation, coordination, and compliance on city and civic projects in the Rockwall / Royse City area.

• Support the Project Manager with daily project administration, including RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, and document tracking.
• Assist with coordination between subcontractors, inspectors, and municipal representatives to keep projects aligned and compliant.
• Help track schedules, budgets, and closeout documentation to support timely project delivery.

• 3–5 years of construction experience supporting municipal, civic, or public‑sector projects such as city halls, libraries, police/fire stations, or similar government facilities. Experience assisting with documentation, inspections, and owner coordination preferred.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred). Any public sector or construction management coursework a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to the Royse City / Rockwall project site and city meetings.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel to support FRIs, submittals, pay apps, meeting minutes, and document control.
