About The Role
Uber Freight is seeking an experienced Sr Sales Compensation Analyst to join our growing Total Rewards team. Our priority is to help our customer‑facing teams sell more effectively and efficiently through data, analytics, and process improvement. The role partners closely with Sales Compensation leadership, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate and strategic administration of sales incentive plans. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
WhatThe Candidate Will Do
- Own the implementation, tracking, and administration of Uber Freight’s sales incentive plans.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Support plan design through cost modeling, scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain queries and dashboards to support compensation analytics and participant reporting.
- Research and resolve incentive disputes raised by plan participants, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across compensation systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, Compensation, Sales Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales compensation, sales incentive planning, sales operations analytics, compensation, or a similar field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with relational databases and SQL (or other coding language) for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with sales compensation platforms such as Varicent, Anaplan, Performio, or Xactly.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems, mathematics, or economics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling way.
- Experience implementing or optimizing sales compensation systems and tools.
- Understanding of freight, logistics, or transportation industries is a plus.
