Receptionist Responsibilities- Greet and direct visitors entering the campus.
- Serve as the initial contact for all persons entering the school.
- Operate the primary phone system and respond to inquiries.
- Provide general office duties as needed.
- Prepare written correspondence, forms, and reports using a personal computer.
- Maintain a log of visitors to the school.
- Assist students, teachers, and parents as required.
- Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route them to appropriate staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax, and computers.
- Work in a multi‑task environment with high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Proficient typing and word processing skills.
- Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax, and computers.
- Knowledge of multi‑line phone system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relations with all patrons.
- Ability to work in a multi‑task environment.
- High degree of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Maintain emotional control under stress and work with frequent interruptions.
- Prolonged use of computer and sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching.
- Occasional light lifting and carrying.
