Quickbooks Bookkeeper

Job Description

Shifflett & Philips is looking for a senior accountant who is significantly experienced in Quick Books and can provide financial support to a variety of clients in different industries. The ideal candidate will be able to manage monthly activity, prepare bank reconciliations, and provide financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting
• Process corporate bank account reviews and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• EOM and YE close routine
• Review payroll tax payments and filings
• Use and implement Quick Books for clients (Quick Books Desktop & Quick Books Online)

• Preferred associate accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working with a CPA firm is a plus
• Professional presentation and conduct is required
• Must be responsible and self-managed, have excellent follow-up and tracking skills and be detail-oriented
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quick Books is required
• Able to work in-office and travel to client sites
