FR is delighted to be helping a growing Marketing Agency based in London find a newly qualified Management Accountant for this hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have experience from an SME agency environment and an experienced Paprika user is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant Prepare monthly management accounts for three legal entities, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis Provide insightful commentary on performance, trends and risks Support budgeting and forecasting processes Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for all three entities Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely resolution of reconciling items Assist with month-end close processes Review and reconcile intercompany balances Prepare and submit UK VAT returns Prepare and submit Swiss VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations Liaise with external advisors where required Produce weekly cashflow reporting and forecasts Monitor working capital, billing, WIP and creditor balances Support cash management and efficient allocation of working capital Systems & Process Improvement Act as a key finance system user Ensure data integrity across finance systems Identify and implement process improvements within finance operations and the wider business Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis for senior management Support audits and year-end processes Work closely with commercial, client services and operations teams Experience & Skills of the Management Accountant Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a small to mid-sized agency Strong hands-on experience using Paprika

Experience with Paprika maintenance, upgrades and improvements. Experience in preparing management accounts for multiple entities to strict deadlines VAT experience, including UK VAT (Swiss VAT would be beneficial but not essential) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Experience in a creative, media, marketing or agency Exposure to multi-currency environments Proactive, organised and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business Able to manage multiple deadlines across different entities Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders Vision
