Position: Travel Paramedic (multiple sites)

Overview

Calling all Paramedic adventurers! This position requires extensive travel, filling in for team members on rotation at various sites across the nation.

Responsibilities

Onsite and Remote Training (20%)

  • Lead and deliver onsite training and education for employees on health, safety, and emergency response procedures.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to onsite medical staff, reinforcing best practices and compliance standards.

Rotational Coverage Support (80%)

  • Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings), as needed to provide coverage.
  • Perform recordkeeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment related records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in accordance with safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide guidance and information on medical treatments, procedures, and workplace health initiatives, promoting a strong culture of health and safety.
  • Measure vital signs and collect specimens when required.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely.
  • Monitor worker health and oversee preventive care initiatives onsite.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain readiness for onsite medical incidents and emergencies.
Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel 100% of the time
  • Must be able to work 5060+ hours per week.
  • Must be able to work 1012 hour shifts (rotating shifts, weekends and holidays)
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to climb without difficulty.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
  • Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
  • Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
  • Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
  • Must have strong team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry specific safety procedures preferred(construction, mining, etc.).
Skills and Experience
  • Strong critical thinking and decision making in high pressure situations.
  • Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
  • Proficient in medical recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
  • Experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider
Required certifications and licenses
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent
  • NREMT Paramedic License
  • Driver’s license
  • Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent (preferred)
