Assistant Project Manager

We're a Commercial General Contractor based in the Houston area with 30+ years of experience. We specialize in a variety of construction markets including Commercial, Retail, Restaurants, Industrial Warehouses, Aviation, Higher Education, and Medical / Healthcare projects throughout the greater Houston area.

Our team is in IMMEDIATE need of an Assistant Project Manager. This position will be based out of our HQ office.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a construction related field along with 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry.

This is a long-term career opportunity. The right fit will be someone eager to learn and grow into a full-on PM managing their own projects.

Requirements:

• College Degree in a construction related field
• Knowledge of the building process
• OSHA Certifications
• Proficient with various construction software's such as Procore and Microsoft Office
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn from tenured industry professionals in order to develop stronger skillsets

Responsibilities:

• Research information to support other teams and departments as needed
• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Keep track of and report on project progress
• Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager orderly and efficiently
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time.

Compensation / Perks:

• Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
