Contract to Hire | Fridley, MN | $18.00 – $22.00/hour (DOE)
1st Shift - Flexible start time between 6:00 am and 8:00 am

Konik is partnering with a manufacturing company that is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their Manufacturing Systems team. This role is responsible for assembling a variety of mechanical components and subassemblies used in precision equipment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on mechanical assembly experience, is comfortable working with components of varying sizes, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and quality.

• Assemble mechanical components, including brackets, rails/bars, plates, large capacitors, and ducts
• Work with parts ranging in size from ½ inch to over 6 feet
• Interpret basic assembly drawings, work instructions, and diagrams
• Utilize hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers
• Operate pneumatically powered tools safely and effectively
• Ensure assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience
• Experience assembling a variety of mechanical components
• Proficiency using hand tools and pneumatic tools
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to read mechanical drawings preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
