Production Group Lead

Production Group Lead Direct Hire | Fridley, MN | $29.00 – $32.00/hour (DOE)

Shift: 1st Shift (Flexible: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Summary:

Konik is partnering with a manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Group Lead to support and guide their Manufacturing team on the first shift. This role provides daily leadership, coordination, and support to production staff while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, solid manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive team performance in a structured production environment.

• Lead and support daily production activities within the team
• Coordinate workflow, staffing, and job assignments to meet production schedules
• Monitor quality, productivity, and on-time delivery metrics
• Provide hands‑on support and troubleshooting in assembly operations as needed
• Serve as a communication liaison between production, engineering, and management
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies
• Train, mentor, and support team members to promote continuous improvement
• Utilize ERP systems to track production orders and material status

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of related manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination experience
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient computer skills, including ERP systems (INFOR preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Outlook

• Experience in an electro‑mechanical assembly environment
• Experience working with PCBAs and electronic components
• Familiarity with surface mount assembly processes
• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
