- Under the instruction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant Maintenance Supervisor the Maintenance Technician Intern will gain hands on experience and instruction that aligns with the technical program coursework. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical, Hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and mechanical failures
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Utilize skills and knowledge in our continuous process – manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics
- Accurately complete administrative documents and follow directions
- Demonstrate technical experience, reliability and the ability to work independently as well as working as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED
- Present enrollment in a relevant technical school program
- Mechanical aptitude and strong interest to work with mechanical equipment
- Willingness to be trained and to perform as a multi-craft mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Outstanding communications, interpersonal and team skills
- Desire for a long-term opportunity
- Action oriented and drive for results

- Organized
- Relevant work experience in process industrial maintenance is preferred.
