Position Overview: 1.0 FTE (.5 VPK/.5 Bldg Sub) - temporary approximately 3/21/26 - 6/12/26.
This position has return rights pursuant to language in the FEA contract.

Position Summary: Plan and implement curriculum for a 4-year-old Voluntary Preschool teaching position, along with filling in as a building substitute for part of each day.

Essential Job Functions:

• Teaching in the 4-year-old classroom
• Collaboration with other Preschool teachers
• Attend staff development sessions
• Communication with parents
• Record observations related to TS Gold assessment tool
• Assist with filling in as a building substitute

Qualifications:

• Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited
• Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for specific assignment (Early Childhood, Preprimary, Prek/K)
• Be able to collaborate in a play-based and inquiry based environment
• Be able to collaborate with classroom assistant

Salary Range: BA, Step 1 at $46,802/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $100,964/yr, placement will vary depending on education and experience. View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Master Agreements page
