Job Title: Nutrition Services Assistant at Fridley High School

Hours: 4.5 hours per day. M-F. This is a position which requires onsite work. Remote work is not an option.

Bargaining Unit: Nutritional Services

Come join our Child Nutrition Professionals and work as part of a team who cares about serving students healthy food options. Prepares, produces and serves a variety of foods from fresh, canned, dry or frozen states according to recipes and assists in other related tasks in a designated food service production and/or service area. This position’s responsibilities vary depending on location.

Possible job duties include preparing hot vegetables, putting away deliveries, preparing fruit and vegetables for the salad bar, setting up assigned area, washing dishes, daily cleaning tasks, operating the point of sale system, and serving students meals. Looking for a positive attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills, team oriented, and enjoys working with a team. This service is done in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness and personal caring in accordance with the requirements of the MN State Department of Education, school budget and policies.

Salary Range: Nutrition Services Assistant - Step 1 at $19.16 - $22.75/hour. Placement will vary depending on education and experience. View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, Nutritional Services Agreement.
