Job Summary

As a Class A CDL Driver, Non-Crane Certified with National Trench Safety, you will deliver and pick up trench‑related shoring to and from customer job sites safely, timely, and efficiently. This safety‑sensitive role requires strict adherence to DOT, FMCSR, and company safety policies, drug‑and‑alcohol testing, and accurate electronic log maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations related to the safe operation of your vehicle:
    • Vehicle inspections at the beginning and end of each shift; report any issues.
    • Keep accurate electronic driver HOSm logs.
    • Maintain current driver credentials as required.
    • Comply with pre‑employment, routine, and random drug and alcohol testing.
    • Secure load strictly in accordance with DOT and company policies.
    • Report all accidents involving driver or equipment to branch management.
  • Deliver and pick‑up shoring and plates to and from job sites, multiple loads per day.
  • Occasionally load and unload your truck and trailer on the customer’s site.
  • Occasionally assemble and disassemble shoring on job sites.
  • Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained and submitted.
  • Apply driving skills to maneuver at various speeds, in difficult locations, heavy traffic, inclement weather, mountainous terrain, or tight loading‑dock areas.
  • Maintain open Energia comunicación with branch for delivery schedules and promptly report problems related to deliveries.
  • Adhere to all customers’ safety requirements while at their job sites.
  • Assist with yard operations, clean and prepare areas to eliminate hazards, and perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide training assistance to customers by answering general questions regarding safe shoring equipment operations.
  • Record and report to branch management, inside sales representative, and customer any damage to NTS rental equipment identified during pickup.
  • Be available to customers’ needs, including occasional after‑hours emergencies.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and maintain on‑schedule maintenance.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to secure loads safely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enhance customer relationships.
  • Positive attitude; occasionally required to meglio lift up to 50농 lbs.
  • Quick learner, detail oriented, and receptive to directions and coaching.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience sukses important vehicles requiring a Class A CDL (preferred).
  • Current Class A CDL issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41‑391.49.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification as required.
