We are currently seeking an experienced Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record. The right candidate will have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience.
Core Duties- Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
- Maintains signed invoices and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
- Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Fuel heavy equipment and generators.
- Loading and off-loading petroleum products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Class (CDL) A or
B. - Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Endorsement.
- Ability to read general street and city signs.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
- No more than one moving violation in commercial vehicle or in personal vehicle in the past 36 months
- No more than one chargeable accident in commercial vehicle or in personal vehicle in the past 36 months
- Never had DUI/DWI in commercial vehicle; will consider applicants who have had a DUI/DWI in personal vehicle more than 10 years prior
- Must meet all DOT requirements

Full-time employees must work at least thirty-two (32) hours, but are to be regularly scheduled for no more than forty (40) hours per week. All hours worked in excess of forty hours per week will be paid overtime at one and one-half times the straight hourly rate. New employees will be on a ninety (90) day introductory period, after which their performance and continued employment will be evaluated.
