Under general direction, Psychiatric Technicians in addition to custody responsibilities promote and implement principles of Wellness and Recovery, provide basic behavioral and psychiatric nursing care, and facilitate the rehabilitation of patients.

• Assist in custody and supervision of psychiatric patients.
• Promote principles of wellness and recovery.
• Provide basic behavioral and psychiatric nursing care.
• Support rehabilitation efforts through attitude, knowledge, and performance.
• Maintain safety and treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
