HVAC​/Refrigeration Technician

Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems within the warehouse environment. The technician will ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and meet industry standards for safety and performance.

Essential Functions:

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance in the warehouse.
• Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC and refrigeration units, including electrical, mechanical, and control system problems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring quick and effective resolution of HVAC and refrigeration failures.
• Monitor system performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain energy efficiency and comply with environmental regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, parts replaced, and system performance data.
• Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work with warehouse management and other teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC or refrigeration

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HVAC or refrigeration technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.

• Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including components, troubleshooting techniques, and system controls.

• Valid CA DL/Clean drivers record may be required
