As a Construction Technician, you will assist with field construction activities, support pipeline and utility projects, operate tools and equipment, and ensure safe and compliant work practices at all times. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a key role in the successful completion of construction tasks across multiple job sites. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike—perfect for individuals who enjoy problem‑solving, working with their hands, and contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects.
- Assist with construction activities across various pipeline and utility projects.
- Read and interpret blue stake markings, site layouts, and project instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Support installation, repair, and maintenance activities as directed by supervisors or project leads.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Drive to multiple job locations while adhering to company and DOT safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and field leadership to complete tasks on schedule.
- Document work performed, site observations, and other notes required for project records.
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

- This position pays between $20 and $25 hourly and is a non‑exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full‑time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic construction or field operations experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blue stake markings and site plans.
- Skilled in the use of common hand tools and basic construction equipment.
- Strong work ethic with an eye for detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel between job sites within the Fresno and Sacramento regions.
