Purpose:

Use mechanical expertise to maintain, repair, and overhaul agricultural equipment and implements.
Qualifications- Knowledge of equipment, implements, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Arm-Hand steadiness, manual dexterity, and coordination
- Ability to understand customer problems and needs
- Strong attention to detail
:
Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and other mechanical agricultural equipment and implements.
:
Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and tractors.
:
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
:
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Heat factors in summer months
- Requires some outdoor activity
- May be exposed to contaminants, pollutants, and gases
- Sound levels may be loud due to drills and machinery
- Hourly Wage: DOE $33.00 to $50.00/hour
