Shop Technician – Fresno, CA

Salary: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary

Technicians perform service maintenance and quality repairs on CASE construction machinery and related equipment in shop and/or field environments.

Responsibilities
  • Routine maintenance and quality repairs on construction machinery and related equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
  • Perform structural repairs, including welding, following OEM guidelines.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is returned to optimal working condition.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Follow OEM procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed.
  • Operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience repairing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting equipment (construction or heavy machinery preferred).
  • Proven experience with construction equipment.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Skilled in using hand, pneumatic, and electric tools safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Compliance with all auto and equipment safety rules and operation of vehicles within prescribed limits and weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work in both shop and field environments as needed.
