Job Summary

The Director of Sales - Hotels (hospitality sales)

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Identify, manage, and grow top accounts for stakeholder hotels, including key decision-makers and deployment strategy.
• Proactively source new business from small business accounts, referrals, lead tools, and market intelligence.
• Re-solicit past opportunities, including lost or declined business, to maximize revenue potential.
• Manage sales funnels, lead tracking, and daily status reports to support deal closure.
• Conduct sales calls, site inspections, presentations, and customer-facing activities.
• Develop and execute lead generation initiatives to uncover new opportunities.
• Utilize negotiation and creative selling techniques to win business.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions, sharing insights with leadership.

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with deployed account teams, property sales leaders, and local businesses.
• Participate in community, networking, and industry events to expand market presence.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to grow account share and foster long-term partnerships.
• Support hotel events and initiatives that promote new account development and customer loyalty.

Required

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related field
• Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience in proactive lead generation within hospitality sales
• Knowledge of hotel business segments (group, transient, catering)
• Strong understanding of the hospitality industry
