Personal Lines Producer (Affluent & High-Net-Worth Clients)

General Description

The Person al Lines Producer is an outside sales role focused on delivering tailored risk management solutions for affluent and high-net-worth clients. This role combines business development, relationship management, and technical insurance expertise. In addition to cross-selling within Relation’s existing client base, the Producer will establish and cultivate new relationships that generate growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and grow a personal lines book of business by achieving $100,000 in new-business annual revenue.
  • Schedule appointments with affluent and high-net-worth households to uncover lifestyle-driven exposures and design tailored insurance programs.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies by cultivating and expanding targeted relationships that serve the affluent and high-net-worth market.
  • Deliver personalized, consultative risk management advice, addressing complex needs such as high-value residences, secondary/seasonal properties, valuable collections, specialty autos, watercraft, umbrellas, and personal cyber risks.
  • Prepare and present personalized proposals; overcome prospect-specific objections to close business.
  • Manage prospect and client data within CRM and maintain disciplined pipeline tracking.
  • Collaborate with Relation’s Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits producers to identify and capture personal lines opportunities.
  • Represent Relation as a trusted advisor, consistently delivering a high-quality client experience.

Flexibility to attend evening networking or client events as needed.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in personal lines sales or service, with strong preference for affluent/high-net-worth exposure.
  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding new business sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, underwriting practices, and marketplace dynamics, with the ability to navigate changing appetites and complex risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills with ability to work independently.
  • High motivation, goal orientation, and organizational discipline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client and relationship development.

Salary Range: $70,000-$129,000
