Job Description

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:

• Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers
• Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
• Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
• Forecast supply requirements
• Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
• Provide best in class service while adhering to the company's high level of professionalism

Sales Agronomist Qualifications:

• 5+ years of agronomy related experience preferred
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy/Agriculture or related fields
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have a current CCA and PCA
• Candidates with established grower and farmer relationships in the region will be prioritized
• Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license
