We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Taproom Location Manager to oversee our establishment. This leadership role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the taproom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, strong team performance, and achievement of sales goals. This individual will manage all aspects of the taproom, from retail execution and event coordination to team development and operational efficiency, while maintaining the brewery’s brand standards.
Responsibilities- Front of House Retail Execution of Customer Experiences and Programmed Events:
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and engaging environment. - Oversee and execute programmed events, including set-up, staffing, and post-event evaluation.
- Proactively address customer feedback to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Manage and Execute Taproom Sales Goals:
Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales goals for beer, merchandise, rentals, and keg sales. - Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust tactics to maximize revenue opportunities. (Monthly Sales Tracker)
- Collaborate with the team to promote and upsell products effectively.
- Manage and oversee the Merced Retail Team:
Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear expectations, and provide coaching for professional growth. - Lead onboarding and training programs to ensure team members are well-prepared and confident in their roles.
- Foster open communication and maintain a positive, motivated team culture.
- Taproom Operations with regards to cleanliness, inventory, and forward-facing customer experience:
Ensure the taproom and surrounding areas are consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing. - Manage inventory levels for beer, merchandise, and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring availability. Work hand and hand with Retail Operations Manager
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a polished atmosphere.
- Taproom Programming and Event Coordination:
Plan, create, and execute taproom programming and events aligned with company initiatives and sales goals. - Coordinate promotional efforts, including social media and in-house marketing for events and new product launches.
- Act as the on-site liaison during events to ensure seamless execution and alignment with the brewery’s brand and vision for the event.
- Follow outlines and event coordination tools given by the Marketing Department to ensure assets and promotions can be executed in the best way possible.
