ResponsibilitiesYou’re a nurse looking for something different, a place where you can learn every day and in a unique environment. Our new 7‑bed step down unit is located in the heart of our trauma PACU, and its patients are post op admits, awaiting beds. This provides an opportunity to work alongside PACU teams and see first‑hand the potential of pursuing a career as a trauma PACU RN, while also providing excellent care to our post‑surgical patients awaiting floor space.
Patient acuity ranges from Med Surg to Step Down level and ratios from 1:3, 1:5 as appropriate.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year recent ICU, Critical Care, Stepdown bedside experience highly preferred
- California RN state license
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association required
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job
