Recycling Sorter

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking a Recycling Sorter to join their team. As a Recycling Sorter, you will be part of the operations team supporting the recycling process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $16.50/hour with Overtime

** Shift:
** Monday - Saturday

** What's the Job?*
* + Sorting through different types of recyclable materials such as cardboard, metal, plastic containers, paper goods, aluminum, and trash.

+ Maintaining a clean work area during downtime.

+ Cleaning inside machinery while using hand tools such as grape knives, pliers, wire cutters, and grinders.

+ Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

+ Being open to working overtime and Saturdays as required.

** What's Needed?*
* + Able to stand for 8+ hours daily.

+ Experience in a packing house with conveyor belts is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

+ Willingness to work in a hot/cold environment.

+ Steel toe boots are required.
