Recycling Sorter

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking a Recycling Sorter to join their team. As a Recycling Sorter, you will be part of the operations team supporting the recycling process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Recycling Sorter

Location: Fresno, CA

Pay Range: $16.50/hour with Overtime

Shift: Monday - Saturday

What's the Job?

• Sorting through different types of recyclable materials such as cardboard, metal, plastic containers, paper goods, aluminum, and trash.

• Maintaining a clean work area during downtime.

• Cleaning inside machinery while using hand tools such as grape knives, pliers, wire cutters, and grinders.

• Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• Being open to working overtime and Saturdays as required.

What's Needed?

• Able to stand for 8+ hours daily.

• Experience in a packing house with conveyor belts is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Willingness to work in a hot/cold environment.

• Steel toe boots are required.
