Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking a Recycling Sorter to join their team. As a Recycling Sorter, you will be part of the operations team supporting the recycling process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Recycling Sorter
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay Range: $16.50/hour with Overtime
Shift: Monday - Saturday
What's the Job?
Sorting through different types of recyclable materials such as cardboard, metal, plastic containers, paper goods, aluminum, and trash.
Maintaining a clean work area during downtime.
Cleaning inside machinery while using hand tools such as grape knives, pliers, wire cutters, and grinders.
Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Being open to working overtime and Saturdays as required.
What's Needed?
Able to stand for 8+ hours daily.
Experience in a packing house with conveyor belts is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Willingness to work in a hot/cold environment.
Steel toe boots are required.
