Job Description

Hourly pay rate effective 04/01/25: $19.44

Hourly pay rate: $18.97

Experienced Forklift Operators are in need! Must have extensive knowledge with sit-down electric and propane powered forklifts and have the ability to push, pull, stack, tier, move pallets of product, equipment or materials. This operation is to be performed with high regards to safety as a primary objective and following a well-established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.

• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
• Pick customer orders as required.
• Inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials needed.
• Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product. Document onto paper form.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Able to drive into bays to enter or exit pallets of product, four tiers high.
• Willingness to be trained in Shipping, Receiving, Take-off, Palletizing and Shuttling.

Education
:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience
:
Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills
:
Basic computer knowledge

Physical
:
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
