This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an experienced Inventory Manager located in Fresno, California
.
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for the accuracy, visibility, and control of all raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory across the facility. This role ensures that inventory is maintained at optimal levels to support production, prevent shortages or overstocking, and ensure compliance with food safety and traceability standards.
The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with strong ERP experience (

), deep understanding of inventory processes in food manufacturing, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally with production, procurement, and logistics to drive operational excellence.
- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management
, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. - Maintain real‑time inventory accuracy in Net Suite ERP through daily cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and enforce inventory control procedures
, labeling standards, and storage practices to ensure traceability and compliance. - Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and proper handling of materials in all storage areas.
- Systems & Reporting
- Manage all inventory transactions within Net Suite ERP
, including receipts, transfers, consumption, and shipments. - Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for leadership, highlighting KPIs such as accuracy rate, inventory turns, and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile inventory balances and support month‑end close processes.
- Operational Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure materials are available for scheduled production runs.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to segregate and document quarantined or non‑conforming materials.
- Communicate effectively with Customer Service regarding order fulfillment timelines and available‑to‑promise inventory.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse and Maintenance teams to ensure storage areas are organized, safe, and audit‑ready.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards related to material storage, labeling, and handling.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all raw materials and finished goods, ensuring lot traceability from supplier to customer.
- Enforce safety standards for forklift operations, equipment use, and warehouse environments.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain within a food manufacturing or CPG environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes
. - Proven ability to analyze data
, identify root causes of variance, and implement corrective actions. - Proficiency in ERP systems — Net Suite required
