Associate Attorney

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney, based in Fresno/Bakersfield/Los Angeles, CA. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing workers’ compensation defense cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, preparing cases for hearings, and representing clients in negotiations and proceedings. The role also involves working collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to effectively resolve legal matters.

• Knowledge of Law and Labor and Employment Law, specifically workers' compensation defense
• Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough Research
• Effective Negotiation abilities to resolve cases and achieve favorable outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Prior experience in workers' compensation law or litigation is a plus
