Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.
Hourly Range, Full-Time: $21.63-$24.00, Plus Commission/Bonuses
Gurnick Academy is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Recruiter, Full-time who is a team player and available to work hybrid near Gurnick Academy Fresno, CA Campus.
The Recruiter will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Management and other recruiters to support the company’s hiring needs. The recruiter will proactively source, identify, screen and present potential talent by having an immediate impact on our productivity, overseeing candidate scheduling and effective candidate communications.
The Recruiter will come with their own unique and creative abilities that will further evolve the best practices in recruiting. You will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition Team, Campus Directors and Hiring Management across Gurnick’s Campuses. All communication will be documented into Recruiting Trackers and Database shared with the Talent Acquisition and Gurnick Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to deeply understand requirements of roles, team functions and our greater organization
- Engage top talent through resume screening, outbound sourcing, networking, referrals, etc
- Generate applicants using cold calling, networking, internet sourcing, job boards, social media, employee referral programs, job fairs, trade fairs, associations, etc.
- Effectively screen for competencies and values via phone screens
- Build creative sourcing strategies and contribute to improvements on our interview process
- Drive recruiting-focused company branding and visibility via social networks, job posting optimization, and innovative campaigns.
- You bring recruiting expertise to a team building sourcing strategies and building strong pipeline to assist in closing positions quickly
- You get stuff done, jumping in the trenches to solve problems and strategize your plan to fill roles
- Detailed oriented and able to coordinate and track candidate progress move then quickly in the process
- Utilize and maintain Talent Acquisition candidate management and Applicant Tracking System
Requirements
- Must Possess a minimum of an Associated Degree, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and maintaining a great candidate experience
- Sourcing and recruiting in a Nursing and Allied-Health professional college system, a plus
- Desire to learn and grow in all aspects of recruiting
- Ability to engage and activate passive candidates via internet sourcing techniques
- Excellent communication skills; highly effective judgment and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of candidates and management.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, ie. Google Docs, Sheet, etc.
- Proficiency in Recruiter Software and database usage for candidate/applicant tracking
