We are hiring for Marriage and Family Therapists! The Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga is now accepting applications for multiple Permanent Full-Time Marriage and Family Therapists positions. Under general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I (SPSWI), the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) treats mental and emotional disorders within the scope of the applicable Business and Professions Code(s), and license.

In this role, the MFT will facilitate individual and group therapy to assist patients with chronic illness, challenging behaviors, addictions, and other specific needs of the population.
