Summary
This position is responsible for assisting with physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected by the supervising physical therapist.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program (unless the Physical Therapy Examining Committee has provided a qualifying opinion on equivalent training and/or experience) is required.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant with the State of California is required. Exception may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant Licensed Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within six months of hire into position.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
- Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Ability to utilize physical therapy equipment safely is required.
- Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers while demonstrating excellent customer service is required.
