Position Details- Entry-level position with PAID training and certification provided.

Modesto, CA - Job Type: PART-TIME, afternoon availability (preferred 2:00‑8:00 pm).
- Work Setting:
Home-based care. - Schedule:
Monday to Sunday.
As a Behavior Technician at BTS, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities. Sessions take place in the child’s home, clinic, or school and last 2–3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you’re comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.
- Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
- Competitive pay: $21–$24/hour, pay increase after you get your RBT certification.
- Mileage reimbursement between client homes.

- All new behavior technicians must obtain RBT certification within 90 days. We provide 40 hours of paid training and cover the exam cost if you pass on the first try.
- Ongoing supervision and coaching from the dedicated Training Team, Supervisor, and BCBA.
- Shadowing opportunities and hands‑on mentorship.
- Clear pathways to advance into roles such as lead technician, trainer, clinical supervisor, or BCBA.
- Supervision hours and internship support for those pursuing BCBA, LMFT, or LCSW credentials.

- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA or behavioral health setting.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and passion for working with children.
- Spanish-speaking highly preferred.
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus but not required.
- Highly preferred:
Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or a related field. - RBT certification is a plus; we cover the cost of obtaining it.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation and a driver's license.
- Auto insurance policy with your name if using vehicle for work.
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
- TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunization, and Pre‑employment Physical (within the past year).
- Background check (FBI & DOJ).
