How we support you as a Associate Therapist:

We have created a supportive environment that encourages creativity, accepts failure as an important part of learning and allows you the space to find your own sense of self as a therapist. We train you in a way that gives you a solid foundation whether you choose to remain on staff post licensure or move onto another season of your career.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree Required
• Registered with BBS Required prior to first day of work
• Comfortable with or willingness to learn technology (Simple Practice, Google Drive, Google Chat, Google Meet)
• Willingness to work with private-pay, CalVCB, and Medi-Cal cases
• 40 hours paid sick leave (base rate + commission)
• Medical benefit premium paid at 100% for full-time employees, available at cost to the employee for dependents
• Dental and Vision health insurance available at cost to full-time employees
• Professional liability fees paid for through group policy
• Psych Today Ad paid for
• Phone reimbursement of $50 per month
• Computer provided
• $100 bonus for each month billing and notes completed on time
• Up to 5 weeks unpaid leave (Christmas to New Years is required)

• Credit toward license exam study materials/Continuing Education, available after 1 year of employment

Job Type:

Full-time position (Full time is considered at 25 client facing hours/weekly)

Pay:

Base rate hourly + Commission (expected income range upon reaching a full caseload is $54,, variable dependent on hours worked per week and individual vs couples caseload, above benefits are in addition)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, 6-8 hour shifts, schedule will be set upon office availability

• 25 client facing hours weekly (we require all therapists to schedule 5 more clients than required weekly to account for cancellations and no shows)
• After-school hour requirement:
  Full time employees are required to be available for 12 after-school hours per week (3pm-on). (i.e. Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm) After-school availability requirement is dropped to 6 hours after 1 calendar year of meeting quota, and is dropped entirely after 2 calendar years if quota is maintained.
• Up to 5 additional work hours weekly as needed to complete job requirements for documentation and communication with staff/clients
• Consultation Groups available to attend monthly

What to Expect After You Apply:

After you apply, you will get a response within 48 business hours from our admin team letting you know that we received your application and will be reviewing it.

Please allow 1 week for our staff to review your application and get back to you.

You will be notified either way and if our team would like to move forward in the interview process, they will contact you to set up a 30 minute introductory video call.

From there if you are selected to move forward you will be scheduled for a 2 hour in-person interview.
