Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
+ Translate customer requirements and orders into accurate, high‑quality product designs using Solid Works and Creo.
+ Review, refine, and troubleshoot designs throughout the development process to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and quality standards are met.
+ Provide hands‑on support to factory and manufacturing teams, addressing design‑related questions and resolving production issues as they arise.
+ Collaborate closely with assembly and fabrication teams to optimize designs for efficient assembly, cost, and performance.
+ Develop detailed bills of materials (BOMs) and complete manufacturing drawings to support production and procurement.
+ Transfer finalized designs to the project engineering team and support the creation of engineering submittals and customer documentation.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
+ 3-7 years experience in mechanical engineering and design
+ Proficiency in Solid Works or Creo.
+ Knowledge of GD&T and FEA analysis.
+
Experience with manufacturing and fabrication processes.
+
Experience with pumps, rotating machinery or fluid control systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
