Irrigation - Digital Product Specialist

International irrigation and water control technologies company is hiring a Digital Product Specialist (DPS).

Individual will help support the adoption of electromagnetic meters, digital control, and automation products in the U.S. irrigation market.

This role requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to communicate effectively with sales teams, distributors, engineers, operators, and contractors.

The DPS will serve as the company’s go-to technical resource for these products, focusing on technical value rather than price-driven selling.

• Provide technical expertise to inside and outside sales teams for selling, installing, and servicing automation, digital, and metering products.
• Support jobsite troubleshooting, field support, engineering presentations, and industry exhibitions.
• Travel regularly to customer sites for technical support, installation supervision, and training.
• Conduct technical presentations and training sessions for Regional Sales Managers, distributors, and customers.
• Cross-train on control valve and air valve products to support existing product engineering teams.
• Monitor competitors’ pricing, products, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Recommend marketing activities to support market penetration and growth.
• Identify market needs and suggest product and solution improvements.

• Proven experience selling and / or supporting technical / engineered products in the irrigation market.
• Background with automation systems, electromagnetic meters, and electronic controls strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate independently with flexibility to travel as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders from field operators to consulting engineers.
• Professional presentation, training, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity with a results-oriented mindset.
