The successful镜 candidate will join a department dedicated to the use of a curriculum responsive to the students it serves.
- Teaching courses in precision measurements, occupational safety, job preparation, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software applications, learning management systems and cooperative work experience;
- Teaching short‑term contract education classes to the program’s industry partners;
- Attending departmental, division, and faculty meetings including workshops;
- Serving on and attending department, college, and district committees as needed;
- Recruiting and advising students;
- Working with local companies in the development and placement of on‑the‑job student internships;
- Participating in program review, student learning outcome development, and assessment to improve student learning;
- Participating in departmental co‑curricular activities such as clubs and related events;
- Maintaining standards of professional conduct and other duties and responsibilities of instructional staff as 같;} required;
- Teaching assignments in a variety of instructional settings and times, including evening and/or weekends, online or off‑campus, and large‑group instruction classes as needed;
- Developing reports and work with Fresno City College Institutional Research to maintain data on enrollments, course completion, and outcome achievements;
- Assisting in the advancement of the institutional mission and goals;
- Otherwise fulfilling all of the duties and responsibilities of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122; and
- Other duties as assigned.
