Teach undergraduate courses such as College Algebra, Pre‑calculus, Introductory Statistics and other courses as needed to fulfill educational goals.
Instructor Responsibilities- Implement university policies and deliver lectures, office hours, assignments, quizzes, projects, midterm and final exams.
- Teach in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid) and maintain schedule throughout semester.
Appointment is contingent on budget, enrollment, and collective bargaining agreement. Eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
CompensationSalary range commensurate within CSU Salary Schedule (Class Code 2358). Monthly salary $5,507–$6,677 for full‑time (15 WTUs). Actual monthly adjusted per WTUs per term.
Anticipated SemesterPool open continuously; positions filled as needed. Term dates:
Fall 2025:
Aug 18 – Dec 22, 2025;
Spring 2026:
Jan 15 – May 22, 2026. Pool remains for two terms; reapply thereafter.
- Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field from accredited institution.
- Evidence of successful teaching experience.
- Commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence with evaluations or evidence.
- Experience implementing active learning techniques in math/stat courses.
- A solid mathematical background.
- Review on rolling basis; early as Apr 1 2025 for Fall 2025. Deadline June 30 2025 for full consideration.
- Projected deadline Oct 31 2025 for Spring 2025;
