Job No 543113 – Temporary/Part‑time Lecturer, Fresno State, Central California.

The Armenian Studies Program offers courses on Armenian history, language, literature, art, and contemporary issues including the Armenian Genocide. The Program supports student organizations and a lecture series.

• Teach a modern period course (19th century or later) with an emphasis on the Armenian Genocide, including syllabus, lectures, assignments, and exams.
• Deliver a 3‑lecture public series on a single topic to be published as a monograph.
• Optionally teach additional courses as needed.
• Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and distance learning as required.
• Adhere to university policies and prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade courses.

• Earned doctorate in Armenian Studies, Armenian history, or related field.
• Record of distinguished publication and research in modern Armenian Studies.
• University‑level teaching or research experience in Armenian Studies or a closely related field.
• Commitment to working effectively with a diverse student body.
