Position Overview:

The Department of Civil and Geomaticsis seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants.

The department reserves the right to choose the most qualified candidate for each position and to assign Instructional Student Assistant to the courses that are appropriate for the department program and curriculum in any given semester. Due to staff and curriculum changes, courses offered may vary, and no guarantee of employment from semester to semester can be made.

Anticipated Appointment Dates

Fall 2025:
August 18, 2025 - December 22, 2025

Spring 2026:
January 15, 2026 - May 22, 2026

Hours
: 0-20 hours per week.

Job Duties may include the following, but will be dependent upon the specific course to which the instructional student assistant will be assigned, as well as upon the specific needs of the faculty member in charge of the course:

• Maintain/Submit students records/grades
• Evaluate student assignments
• Attend ISA orientation as needed
• Assist the instructor in the laboratories, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member

• Graduate Students will be given preference
