UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are recruiting for two academic faculty positions in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (formerly known as FPMRS). Responsibilities will include direct patient care including URPS procedures, teaching and supervising students and residents, and research and quality improvement appropriate to professional training, capabilities, and career goals. This position will provide the opportunity to work with an underserved patient population as the only URPS provider seeing Medi Cal patients in the region.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Administrative/leadership opportunities may be available and the opportunity to maintain obstetrical experience is available (but not required) through Labor and Delivery coverage both during the day or overnight on-call.
UCSF Fresno, a regional campus of the University of California, San Francisco, features eight independent residency programs, seventeen fellowship programs and is a major teaching site for UCSF medical students.
QualificationsAt the time of hire, the applicant must have:
- Successfully completed ACGME/AOA accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Successfully completed a URPS Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN and URPS
- Eligible to obtain a California Medical License or already be licensed in the State of California
- Qualifications in progress should be listed in CV as pending
At a minimum, the responsibility of this position includes:
- Service to UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health in the areas of patient care, teaching and supervision, and research appropriate to their professional training, capabilities, and career goals.
