Position: Physician / Urgent Care / California / Permanent / Urgent Care & Occupational Medical Director Physician - Fresno,

Location:Fresno, CA
Schedule:Monday"Friday, 8am"5pm (No nights, weekends, holidays, or call)
Compensation:$250,000 " $317,000 base salary + $50,000 annual bonus (for 2 years) + monthly and quarterly incentives

The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven physician leader to serve asClinic Medical Directorin a thriving urgent care environment. This unique role allows you to balance patient care with physician leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff, improving clinic operations, and supporting patient-centered excellence.

Physicians in this role spend most of their time in clinical care while dedicating a portion to leadership and quality improvement initiatives"ideal for physicians who enjoy both practicing medicine and shaping the future of care delivery.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary:$250,000"$317,000 (based on experience)

  • Annual bonus:$50,000 for 2 years

  • Incentives:Monthly RVU and quarterly quality bonuses + director stipend

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care with a focus on quality and efficiency

  • Lead and mentor a team of clinicians and support staff

  • Drive clinic performance and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with therapists and specialists for optimal outcomes

  • Maintain connections with patients, colleagues, and community partners

  • Balance clinical and administrative duties to create an outstanding care environment

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted medical license (CA)

  • DEA license (required prior to start)

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS/AOA-recognized specialty preferred)

  • Eligible for Medicare participation

  • FMCSA NRCME certification (or willingness to obtain)
