Overview
UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health – Infectious Disease Faculty Position. Recruiting qualified physicians to join the Infectious Disease () medical education and research program at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank.
Responsibilities- Provide consultations in inpatient and ambulatory settings, across teaching and non-teaching services.
- Participate in robust and expanding Infection Control (IC) programs.
- Contribute to education across Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Psychiatry, and OB/Gyn residents, as well as medical students.
- Collaborate with a network including a large regional medical center, HIV clinics, and faculty practice clinics; engage in clinical research and education activities.
UCSF Fresno practice sites include a large regional medical center, Ryan White HIV clinics, the VA Central California Health Care System, and faculty practice clinics. The program is based in Fresno, California, with access to diverse pathology and a safety-net patient population.
Qualifications- Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease ().
- Excellent clinical skills.
- Strong commitment to medical education.
- Interest in clinical research.
- Training or experience in Infection Control (IC) and HIV management is preferred.
Base pay range: $ – $ per year. Salary and faculty appointment at UCSF Fresno will be commensurate with experience.
