Physician - Primary Care Clinic

Job Overview

Community Health Centers of America is hiring an MD/DO to work in family practice clinics in Fresno, CA. The physician will supervise NP/PAs, work in partner long‑term care facilities, diagnose and treat patients in a clinic setting. Internal Medicine – Family Practice.

• Evaluate medical conditions, develop and implement treatment plans including prescriptions.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment results, conduct physical examinations, review history, order and interpret lab tests.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, nurses, etc.) and consult primary care physicians.
• Enforce policies, procedures, standards, Joint Commission requirements and legal regulations; participate in utilization reviews and be available for emergency consultations.
• Maintain medical records, document symptoms, medications and treatment events, write summaries.
• Pursue continuing medical education, read professional publications, maintain networks and participate in professional organizations.
• Enhance department reputation by accepting new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

• Completion of residency.
• Valid state medical license as MD or DO.
• Valid DEA certificate.
• 3 years’ experience working as a physician.
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking and active listening.
• Social perceptiveness.
