Part-Time Dispatcher / Outbound Scheduler

Schedule: Flexible hours (including some evenings/weekends as needed)
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Dispatcher / Outbound Coordinator to support our HVAC and Plumbing operations. This role is critical to daily success and requires someone who can confidently handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule and dispatch technicians efficiently, and provide excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, and communicates clearly with both customers and technicians.
Key ResponsibilitiesDispatching & Scheduling
Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate HVAC and Plumbing service calls
Optimize technician routes and daily schedules for efficiency
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed
Communicate job details clearly to technicians
Outbound Calling
Make outbound calls to confirm appointments
Follow up with customers on estimates, unscheduled work, and maintenance plans
Reach out to past or existing customers for service reminders and promotions
Customer Service
Answer inbound calls professionally and courteously
Gather customer information and accurately enter details into the system
Address basic customer questions and concerns
Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times
Administrative Support
Update customer records, job notes, and schedules in dispatch software/CRM
Collect and document call notes accurately
Support office operations as needed
Previous dispatching experience (HVAC, plumbing, or home services preferred)
Strong phone communication and customer service skills
