Position OverviewThe Fresno County Department of Agriculture invites applications for the position of Agricultural Field Aide. Incumbents perform less complex, routine tasks associated with various programs, including pest detection on public and private property. Incumbents also assist Agricultural/Standards Specialists in special surveys and pest eradication activities.

Must be at least 18 years of age. - Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. - License:
Valid Class "C" driver’s license or equivalent.

- All education and work experience to demonstrate the applicant meets the minimum qualifications.

Applicants may be required to complete an examination process and successful candidates will be placed on an employment list effective for a minimum of 3 months.
- The eligible list may be extended up to 12 months and used to fill both extra-help and permanently allocated positions.
- Individuals selected for extra-help appointment may be transitioned to a permanently allocated position later.
