** Lithia Ford of Fresno is seeking an
** experienced, Ford-certified Transmission Technician
** to join our high-volume, well-equipped service department. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional looking for steady work, strong compensation, and long-term career growth with one of the largest automotive groups in the country.
** Responsibilities:
*** Diagnose and repair Ford automatic and manual transmission systems
* Perform transmission rebuilds, replacements, and warranty repairs
* Accurately document repairs and diagnostics in accordance with Ford and dealership standards
* Utilize Ford diagnostic tools and service information
* Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship
* Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
* Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
** Requirements:**
* ** Current Ford certification in Transmission Repair (required)
*** Minimum 3–5 years of transmission repair experience
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to perform heavy mechanical repairs
* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
* Commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
* ASE certifications a plus
